The Spring Collection | Linens, Pillows, Bunnies, Sheep, Baskets, French Glassware

The Spring Collection

What is it about spring that makes us crave it so intensely? Like no other season, we need spring. I long for wide open windows, branches with tiny buds ready to blossom and fresh showers washing all of the grime from winter away. I day dream of going outside on a misty morning to check on my daffodils, with the scent of clean damp dirt hanging in the air. I am so ready for spring.

Now that winter is coming to a close, all I want are light, airy hues filling my home - cozy still, but with a breezy, relaxed feel. In this collection, you'll find lots of linens, french glasses, kitchen accessories, spring cleaning essentials, fresh candles and everything for Easter.

I hope just looking around will help your day to feel brighter and lighter... and that much closer to spring : )

This little basket is just the right size for each guest at Easter.  It makes a lovely little gift for classmates and teachers, as well.  The Buttery color makes it feel just perfect for spring.

Perfect for a gift for a friend or neighbor.  The basket shown has a Lemon Neem Tea Towel, Cheddar Biscuits and Fresh Eggs.  It would also make a sweet Easter basket for guests at your Easter Brunch... filled with a big chocolate bunny, of course.  The "All is New" Lamb tag makes it feel like a gift from spring : )

Everyday Essential Bottles :
You will find all of the Everyday Bottles restocked with the Spring Collection - all great home keeping essentials to help freshen your home for Spring.
The new Powder Room Bottles (above, sold as 2 sets of 2) are shown here with the new Laurel Wreath labels that come with every set of Essential Bottles (Kitchen, Shower, Cleaning & Laundry). I wanted to add a little fresh touch to some of the bottles in my home. I love that how this classic icon, dresses them up just a tad. So, now they come with Laurel Wreath Labels, Classic Labels & Blank Labels.

Freezer & Kitchen Containers, Set of 18, $8

This is something I've wanted to have in my kitchen for a long time.  If you have ever worked in a restaurant or bakery, there are certain things that you will find hard baking/cooking without at home.  One of those things is Parchment Paper Sheets.

Another thing is a large quantity of plain, clear plastic food containers.

Our "tupperware" cabinet had become sort of a mishmash of collected lids and containers.  It was over-flowing (even after just living in our house for 9 months) and ugly. It felt good to clean it out and get it down to the fresh and simple stacks.  These plastic containers stack so efficiently - they hardly take up any room at all... and all of the containers use the same lids.  No more trying to match lids - all the same.  Ah, the little things : )

Large Harvest Basket Bin, $10

This is a larger, more squared version of our favorite Harvest Baskets.  It has taller, straighter sides, making it the perfect way to organize a pantry, closet, craft area, cleaning supplies, etc.  I'll be putting mine to work next week - stay tuned to see how I use them!
14" L x 10" W x 7" T

Our favorite French tumbler family has grown!  Look at this amazing assortment of glasses and designs.

French Bees Collection
French Wine & Champagne
Fleur de Lys Collection

I have to admit - I love the Bees.  Isn't that Bee Wine Glass fantastic?  I also love the Itsy Bitsy Bud Vase glass... or mini milk glass, if you are Emma.  It is very good for dunking one  Oreo... I've been told.

I love how they look all lined up in our glass-fronts.

Bliss Linen Collection

This collection is from Europe, made from 100% Linen.  It has a gorgeous drape and feel - along with a subtle herringbone pattern.   The color is a pale grey with just a hint of a blue undertone.  It looks fabulous with creamy yellows of spring.

Easter Table

I love a cheery, casual Easter table!  Maybe because Easter is typically a brunch, a bright and fun setting feels right.  I love that each place has a little Easter Basket, serving as the place card.

Lemon Curd Neem Tablecloth

I've always loved Tessa's (Nine & Sixteen) Bunny Cookies.  So, this year's bunny shape is based on hers - so classic, of course.

Robin's Egg Tags, Set of 20, $6

It is no secret - I love Robin's Eggs.  The color "Seaside" is just that, a Robin's Egg Blue.  This simple tag is just the thing to add some whimsy to an Easter basket or spring treat.  How cute would it be tied to a Blue Bird Cookie?

I love everything it stands for - literally, a new beginning for everything.  "All is New."
We try to keep the real meaning of each season and holiday at the center of our celebrating.  I love how just this little tag can re-center the holiday for us as a family.  This tag, when tied to Emma's Easter Basket will be a moment for us to share the message of Easter on a morning that is filled with chocolate bunnies and eggs filled with jelly beans (which we also love!).

Hiding Bunnies Tags, Set of 20, $6

I love bunnies, too!  : )   Isn't this a sweet way to show this icon of the season?

There is a little place that we love (Cafe Europa) that has a little cake just like this one - a Lemon Layer Cake with a Lemon Glaze.  Ok, well, there cake is very big, but I thought a cake that size would be dangerous around here, so...

(recipe coming soon!)

Cake Pan, 6" Round, $6

This 6" cake is just the right size for 6 generous slices.  This might be an odd "essential" size, but I find that this is the cake pan I reach for over and over.  We don't have too many occasions that we need a huge layer cake for... but we always have an occasion for a little one : )

Pillows are the easiest way to transition your home.  It takes just minutes to bring in the feel and freshness of spring.

Spring Hyacinth French Tumbler Candle

This candle is hand-poured in a French Fluer de lys Tumbler.  It has a clean, floral scent with notes of hyacinth and fresh spring air.  After you use it, the glass can be cleaned and used as a vase for flowers (my favorite) or as a drinking glass.  It is packaged in a kraft paper box, ready for gifting.

Lemon Honey French Tumbler Candle

This candle is poured in a French Bee Tumbler... perfect for this Lemon Honey scent.  It has the warmth of honey and the clean citrus freshness of meyer lemons we crave in the spring.  The fresh scent makes it a great kitchen candle - exactly where mine is sitting right now : )

With Spring, all is new and fresh!  That includes store packaging... and I have new packing notes for spring featuring the new Laurel Wreath logo.  Did you know that your Everyday Occasions packages arrive like this?  In the next couple of weeks, I'll take some time to show you how I've made some addition and improvements to make ordering and shipping a pleasure for our customers.

Thanks again for joining me on this journey!   Spring, now you can officially arrive.  Please : )
